In the world of luxury yachting, few vessels command attention quite like the Sunreef 70 Power Eco. I had the pleasure of walking through the boat last month at the Miami International Boat Show and have to say that this catamaran redefines what it means to cruise in style, blending innovation, sustainability, and comfort into one remarkable package. With a beam of over 37 feet, you really feel like you are on a much bigger boat whilst lounging in the salon and on the decks. Join me as we delve deeper into the world of Sunreef power catamarans and discover what sets this vessel apart from the rest.
Engine and Performance
The Sunreef 70 Power Eco isn't just about looks; it's about performance too. Powered by an innovative electric propulsion system, this yacht offers a cruising speed of up to 12 knots and an impressive range of 3000 nautical miles. But what sets it apart is its eco-conscious approach, which not only reduces environmental impact but also ensures a quieter and smoother cruising experience. By incorporating solar panels into its design, the Sunreef 70 Power further enhances its sustainability credentials, offering the eco-conscious a greener alternative for cruising the open sea.

Sunreef 70 Power: Exterior Decks
The exterior decks of the Sunreef 70 Power are designed to be more than just spaces to move around; they're sanctuaries for relaxation and entertainment. Picture yourself lounging on the sprawling flybridge, shaded by a massive hardtop with a sunroof, as you take in panoramic views of the surrounding seascape. With ample seating, a dining area, and even space for a spa pool or bar, the flybridge becomes the ultimate gathering spot for friends and family.
Moving down to the main deck, you'll find an aft cockpit that offers a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Here, an al-fresco dining area invites you to savor delicious meals while enjoying the gentle sea breeze. And with easy access to water sports and toys stored in the innovative aft garage, the aft cockpit becomes a hub of activity for guests of all ages.

But perhaps the most enchanting feature of the Sunreef 70 Power, and my personal favorite, is the bow terrace - a sprawling oasis with freestanding furniture and a lounge area protected from the elements. Here, you can soak up the sun in style or seek refuge from the wind as you take in the beauty of the surroundings. With 360-degree views and plenty of space to relax and unwind, the bow terrace becomes a favorite spot for guests to gather and create unforgettable memories.

Sunreef 70 Power: Interior
The main salon on the Sunreef 70 Power Eco beckons with its spacious layout and abundance of natural light streaming through panoramic glazing and skylights. High-quality finishes and meticulous attention to detail create an atmosphere of refined elegance, inviting you to relax and unwind in style.
Customization is key here, with a range of layout options to suit your preferences. Opt for the galley-down configuration, and you'll find yourself in a cozy space with all the amenities needed to whip up gourmet meals for family and friends. The saloon gains a spacious L-shaped sofa on the port side, perfect for lounging with a good book or hosting intimate gatherings.
If you prefer an open-plan galley, the main deck becomes a hub of activity and entertainment. With seating for up to 20 guests and 360-degree views of the surrounding scenery, the possibilities for socializing and relaxation are endless. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely meal with loved ones or simply taking in the sights and sounds of the sea, the main deck saloon offers a welcoming space for all occasions.

Moving below deck, you'll find comfortable accommodations for you and your guests. While the narrow hulls may limit sleeping room compared to traditional monohulls, every inch of space is carefully optimized to ensure comfort and functionality. Luxurious master suites and versatile guest cabins offer a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure on the water, while crew quarters discreetly tucked away aft ensure seamless service without intruding on guest privacy.
